sad ?? happy ?? sad agn ??

Were it easy to make choices -with no fallouts or missed opportunities- would u flirt with your dreams. And if all your dreams started fructifying, wouldn't these splendid dreams suddenly become very boring. Am I missing something very basic to the argument!!

Already 24 februarys passed and still wonder at times what needs to be done to succeed. Rather what in fact is success.

Is following a trail laid down by some ghostly specter and managing not to stumble, success ?? it might load you with the wherewithal and the means to splurge. But would you be able to resist following the same trail of that alluring ghost when it comes to the manner in which you spend your booty. Just because the neighbor has a Jacuzzi you want one installed too, irrespective of the fact that you only bath once a week. This tendency to emulate others is now entrenched in all of us, the fact that all of us try to deny this accusation, just reinforces it :) One might argue that men in the past have scaled daunting peaks and to be able to match up to those, is success in its own right. Those men faced challenges, came up with solutions which we now blindly and mechanically follow. Y ?? But isn't that why in the first place a society was established- to barter and trade skills and experiences.

What other option to success ?? Tread towards somewhere yet unexplored ?? The odds are heavily loaded against achieving " Success". If one cannot even define success, from where would he derive the determination to move towards it.

Wikipedia gives 3 definitions of success - a level of social status, achievement of objective and opposite of failure. Already tried to reason y the first one is improper. Achievement of objective - this definitely cannot be the definition of success coz objectives are compounded in multiple layers. Aspirations do not exhaust out.

And the last one - opposite of failure - is mere hogwash.....

Could one justify tiptoeing through life to arrive safely at death ?? Does it add credence to the argument and to our existence ?.

would one be all happy happy who claims to walk uncharted expanses or would he be morose in the face of the innumerable challenges that beset his strides ?




Only if someone had some answers !!
